John's area of expertise and specialization is in the identification, recruitment, placement and retention of healthcare finance executives (CFO, Controller, Business Office and Revenue Cycle) for Hospitals and Health Systems of all types and size throughout North America. John's healthcare recruiting career began in 1993. Over the years, his success at matching the needs of his clients and candidates and merger/acquisition partners has historically resulted in collected placement fees in excess of $1 Million annually. This level of success stems from an intimate understanding of the motivations behind the career changes of top performers. John's strong relationships, deep industry knowledge and understanding of the business allow him and his team to deliver a substantial value proposition to the clients and candidates they serve. With more than 500 career placements under his belt, John is a valuable resource.

John joined Kaye/Bassman in 1998. He became a Partner in 2000 and an equity owner in 2004. Outside Kaye/Bassman, John is very active with his church, The Branch at Vista Ridge (North Campus for the Farmers Branch Church of Christ), is a member of The Dallas Round Table (Board Member 2005 and 2009), the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce - Workforce Development Taskforce (Board Member 2005 & 2006), The Real Estate Council (TREC Membership Committee 2006 - 2008) and TREC's Associate Leadership Council (class of 2008).

John is married to Nicole (1990) and they have two children, Jaxon (1996) and Maryn (1999). John grew up in Montana. He played football and baseball at Harding University in Arkansas and received his business degree while playing baseball at Rice University in Houston.
