Ira joined Kaye/Bassman International as Practice Leader of Kaye/Bassman Consumer Products Practice in 2007 and became Managing Partner in 2009.  His team specializes in the placement of mid to senior level sales management and sales support professionals in the consumer products industry on a national basis.  He has a passion for leadership and management and takes great pride in his ability to develop and build teams from ground level.

Ira started his professional career with Procter & Gamble in Atlanta, GA. He later started his recruiting career in 1996 with Lucas Group where he held many positions including Senior Partner and Managing Partner in their Atlanta Search Office, as well as, Senior Managing Partner before ultimately leading their Dallas Search Division.  Ira has consistently hired and developed award-winning recruiters over the last 12 years and was a repeat winner of Lucas Group’s President’s Club, Dom Perignon and Sterling Club Awards.  Since his first year as a Managing Partner, his teams have annually produced million dollar plus placement fees.

Ira has appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box and has been quoted in numerous national business publications including The Boston Globe, Career Journal Online, Sales & Marketing Management, and HR.com.
 
Ira graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.  He resides in Plano, Texas with his wife and two daughters and is very active in athletics and coaching youth sports.
