Jim Hagood leads the Kaye/Bassman search practice dedicated to academic physicians specializing in Neurology, Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Surgery. Clients are typically department chairs at medical schools located across the US.

Clients benefit from a practice that is exclusively focused on US board eligible, fellowship trained physicians who are dedicated to a combination of patient care, residency program expansion and research initiatives. The result is a contraction in the elapsed time associated candidate placement, particularly for challenging sub-specialties where qualified physician shortage is problematic.  Candidates benefit from a professional consultative approach that is underscored by absolute confidentiality. Jim joined Kaye/Bassman in December 2007 after completing a 30 year career in the information technology industry, winning multiple sales awards as a director and senior sales executive at EDS.

Jim and his wife Jan live in Plano, Texas. They have 2 grown children.
