Profiles Meet some of our people by reading their personal profiles which highlight their unique experiences at Kaye/Bassman.
Carla Mayes, Heathcare Information Technology Specialty Practice “Working at Kaye/Bassman has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I feel like I am truly making a difference in the lives of many individuals. I really enjoy the value of service I bring to clients. During an interview I had facilitated, the Director of the hospital stated that I consistently secured some of the most professional candidates in the Industry ...this was an unsolicited comment that justified the hard work that I put into each search assignment.” Through experience and dedicated search she has carved out a specialty niche of identifying and placing Information Technology Professionals at some of the most prestigious hospitals throughout the United States. She has assisted in the placement of Directors, Project Managers, System Analyst and other IS Professionals. Her focus is on Clients and Candidates that utilize the Cerner Clinical Applications. Her clients range from large teaching facilities such as Harvard Children’s Hospital in Boston to smaller suburban hospitals such as York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Carla’s knowledge and experience in Information Technology grows out of a life long passion with the modern day advances of hospital technology. Her appreciation grew when she experienced a potentially life threatening health crisis with one of her children. She has experienced and can appreciate first hand the importance of technology in extending and improving the quality of life for millions of families as it has impacted her own.
Lee Martin, Construction & Real Estate Specialty Practice "Kaye/Bassman offers an abundance of resourceable talent, competition in a true meritocracy, incredibly infectious good-natured office environment, and support to make it work together succesfully." Lee graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Degree in Business Administration, double majoring in Marketing and Organizational Management. Upon graduation Lee was recruited by Kaye/Bassman's corporate recruiting team to get on board in an entry level role through an interactive on-campus Kaye/Bassman recruiting effort. Lee joined Kaye/Bassman as an entry level Project Coordinator in the Central U.S. Commercial Construction space in July of 2004. His lack of experience in both the recruiting and construction fields were of no impedement and Lee used the resources at Kaye/Bassman to quickly learn the ability to leverage relationships and work hard for fast-paced success in a competitive Chicago construction marketplace. From there Lee made his goal to become a true "Market Master" staying ahead of industry knowledge and trends, and using each success along the way to gain greater competitive advantage. Lee's career path moved out of a pure "recruiting" role into the running of complete placements and interaction with some of the top 10 construction company executives in Chicago. Lee is actively involved in the Kaye/Bassman Charity Committee, working in event planning and fundraising to benefit the Attitudes & Attire Organization and Muscular Dystrophy Association, Kaye/Bassman's two charities of choice. Lee is also actively involved in corporate sporting activities.
