Our system, one of the largest in the United States with 28 hospital locations and more than 350 access points across the greater Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) region, cares for more patients than any other health care provider in North Texas. We continually invest in new technologies, therapies, and facilities to advance care for the many patients we serve.

A growing investment in the future of medicine in North Texas: Texas Health has invested significantly toward the expansion of graduate medical education (GME) programs — creating a total of 350 residency slots overall — and is seeking a seasoned physician educator to spearhead the creation of Texas Health’s first Psychiatry Residency Program, and the third PSY program in North Texas. The founding Program Director of the Psychiatry Residency Program at Texas Health Plano (THP) will be supported by a growing number of accomplished, energetic faulty members and will have the opportunity to implement innovative ideas for training, curriculum, scholarship, and clinical services. Our strong partnerships with academic affiliates and clinical partners across North Texas are committed to helping address the physician shortage and increasing accessible psychiatric care to North Texans.

Texas Health GME programs presently available include three ACGME-accredited internal medicine residencies (a primary care specialty identified as an area of physician workforce need) and a general surgery residency. Texas Health Plano ranks among the Best Hospitals in the Nation by U.S. News & World Report.
