Currently, our client is seeking clinically experienced candidates for the position of Medical Director with a high level of private sector health plan operations and medical coding (CDT, ICD-9). Individual must be confident in new technologies and willing to learn on a daily basis. The Medical Director position supports a growing client base while combining their clinical expertise with payment policy. The Medical Director is a key member of the client team and represents the team on all Medical Policy decisions as well as directing the Medical Policy Committee (which is composed of Medical Directors, Coding Analysts and Provider Relations.) The client is looking for someone with strong Payment Policy Management. The Medical Director is responsible for interpreting and assessing payment policy for clients and provides consultation and policy advice. Information Management Director
One of the large leading healthcare systems is searching for an INFORMATICS MANAGEMENT DIRECTOR at their corporate office. The Director will be responsible for project management of EMR implementation and post-implementation support. They will work closely with the HIM facility staff and the corporate office to ensure proper, timely implementations. They will organize training and education of the staff along with following project plans, support of HIM departments, assisting with data capture and ensures corporate standards are met and followed through all phases of the project. There will be approximately 50 – 75% travel.
A large stable healthcare system is in need of multiple full-time, remote coders for Inpatient, Surgical Outpatient and E/R, Ancillary positions. A computer and dual monitors are provided to you and full online paid training is provided along with a mentor. The work schedule is flexible and full healthcare benefits and 401K are available. You must have a coding certification or be an RHIA or RHIT.
This position is part of a For Profit Hospital that is less than 100 beds just outside a large Texas City. Though the facility is small, they are extremely busy and require a candidate that is RHIA or RHIT with at least 3 years in a director position. There are 5 direct reports and the department runs very well.
