Lubbock, Texas The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Reproductive Endocrinologist for a full-time or part-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or higher. The Assistant/Associate Professor or higher in REI will contribute to the university’s mission through teaching, research, and service. This open rank faculty position offers a great amount of flexibility (full or part-time) to focus on one’s specialty area of interest, while meeting your innovative clinical, career, and personal goals.

The Center for Fertility and Reproductive Surgery at TTUHSC is a nationally recognized fertility clinic comprised of one (1) physician sub-specialized in Reproductive Endocrinology and one (1) cutting-edge Embryologist. Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI) provides care for every type of intended parent (infertile couples, fertility preservation, egg donation, and surrogacy to name a few). Our referral base – a Level 1 trauma region – is geographically large with a catchment area that includes eastern New Mexico and West Texas.

Duties would include supervision and teaching of residents and medical students, clinic appointments, procedures, ultrasound, and surgical block. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to provide clinical care and lead innovative change in a diverse clinical practice as well as independent and/or collaborative research.

  • The Reproductive Endocrinologist will be working with 1 REI physician and 13 other faculty to better serve patients seeking infertility services in West Texas and beyond. Close-knit REI department.

Professional Qualifications:
TTUHSC is especially interested in qualified candidates who can contribute through their research, teaching and/or service to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. In addition, the REI Physician must possess:
  • Terminal Degree: MD or DO degree required.
  • Board Certified or Board eligible by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, with board certification or eligibility in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI).
  • Fellowship trained in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (REI).
  • Texas state medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Qualifications for faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor or higher.
