Job Title: Business Operations
Location: Dallas, TX

The Business Operations Specialist will support accounting, operations, and leadership teams by improving project delivery, systems performance, and overall efficiency. The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to improve and align business systems with operational goals to enhance productivity.

  • Identify and resolve process inefficiencies using real-time data; recommend and manage pilot initiatives for improvement.

  • Oversee software implementation, including data migration, training, and system integration.

  • Provide technical support and system optimization while ensuring tools meet business and user needs.

  • Standardize project processes in areas such as quality control, budget reporting, and documentation.

  • Collaborate with preconstruction and subcontractor teams to streamline budgeting and scheduling.

  • Conduct jobsite visits to align operations, culture, and standards across teams.

  • Use data visualization tools to create reports and dashboards for leadership decision-making.

  • Partner with executives to prioritize technology and process improvements based on project performance.

  • Foster communication and collaboration across offices and departments.

  • Research and implement emerging technologies that enhance construction efficiency and reduce risk.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or systems integration, preferably in construction or a related industry.

  • Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Experience with software such as Procore, JD Edwards, Microsoft Project, and ERP platforms.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred.

  • Familiarity with database management and software implementation is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
