The Division of Dermatology in the John T. Milliken Department of Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine is accepting nominations and applications for the full-time position of General Dermatologist. The clinical Dermatology Core Faculty Member will contribute to the University’s tripartite mission
Opportunity Highlights:

The Division of Dermatology has both private and public clinics throughout the St. Louis area. In total, we see approximately 67,000 patients annually, with 56,000 procedures inclusive of Mohs services. -
Flexibility to meet your innovative clinical, career, and personal goals: Full or part-time. Complex or general medical dermatology with option to tailor interests. -
Help train the next generation of dermatologists, and work with medical students in clinical or didactic education. -
Participation in industry-sponsored clinical trials & Grand Rounds; Exposure to research in cutaneous biology. -
Practice team-approach in dermatologic care, which consists of 19 physicians and research-based faculty. -
Dermopathy collaboration is extremely high quality for internal and community-based physicians. Strong working relationship with medical oncology/BMT, gastroenterology, otolaryngology, surgical oncology, and rheumatology. -
Access to innovative institution-and department-wide opportunities to enhance career development in several arenas, including medical education, clinical or translational research, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). -
Access to infusion centers. Participation in multi-specialty conferences. -

Position Summary:
The Dermatologist will be an integral member of the overall faculty. With the appropriate experience, the Dermatologist may have the opportunity to be a site director should a new community site be developed.
Professional Qualifications:
Required: The ideal candidate will have the following professional qualifications and personal characteristics:

MD or DO degree required. -
Board Certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology. -
Missouri state medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in the state of Missouri. -
Qualifications for faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher. Open to faculty of all levels of seniority. -
Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
Preferred Qualifications:

One (1) year experience or one (1) year related experience in Dermatology. -
Academic clinical experience as a core faculty member in a medical school or health sciences center.
