Professional Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
M.D. or D.O. degree -
Licensed in Texas, or eligible for medical license in the State of Texas -
Board Certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine or Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine Physicians -
A minimum of (3) years of clinical experience in Family Medicine -
A minimum of (3) years of educational and/or administrative experience -
A minimum of (2) years of experience as core faculty member in an ACGME-accredited family medicine residency program.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) administration -
Experience in teaching medical students -
Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred but not required -
Demonstrated track record in research and peer reviewed publications -
Regional or emerging national recognition for the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor or Higher -
A cross-cutting focus on rural health, underserved populations, and health disparities is strongly preferred.
