Location: Boston, MA

Kaye/Bassman International is a leading executive search firm that has been filling roles for Pharma and Biotech clients for over 35 years. Our Medical Affairs search practice is led by Michael Pietrack, the top Medical Affairs recruiter in the US and the host of The Pharmaverse Podcast.

In this short video, Michael introduces the role.

Sr. MSL – Hematology Oncology
Small Growing Biotech – Prepare for Launch

One of our clients is a west coast based Oncology Biotech with a rich pipeline and a large market cap. Their lead asset is a targeted therapy for AML patients, and they have high hopes to launch some time in 2025. In preparation for this, they are expanding their Field Medical Affairs team and are looking for an experienced Leukemia MSL in the Northeast Region, which is defined as New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Mayne.

They asked us to find people with elements of the following background:

3+ years of Medical Science Liaison experience
Oncology MSL experience, specifically calling on HCP’s treating leukemia
Deep Leukemia KOL connections in the outlined region
A terminal degree (PharmD, PhD, DNP, or MD) is preferred
A cultural fit with a fast-paced small biotech culture

If you fit this description and you’re looking for a rapidly growing Oncology Biotech, then we encourage you to apply. If you have someone in your network who would be a fit, we welcome you to forward the link to the job so that they can consider it for themselves.

A Note for Aspiring MSL’s: This role is targeting experienced MSL’s, but we have many resources that may be helpful in your job search. Please visit our “Aspiring MSL Insights” series on YouTube.
