Position Description:

Penn Medicine is seeking a Managing Physician to join our established Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) practice in Lancaster, PA. This is a unique leadership opportunity to provide high-quality patient care while helping guide the operational and clinical aspects of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. The MFM Managing Physician will have the opportunity to continue practicing MFM while providing leadership to an established team MFM physicians, advanced practice providers, and an on-site genetic counselor. You’ll have the ability to help shape the future of an active practice while caring for a diverse, high-risk obstetric population.

Practice Highlights:
  • Team: 3 MFM physicians, 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and an on-site genetic counselor
  • Schedule: 4-day workweek, 10-hour days—supporting work-life balance

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-risk obstetric care as part of a full-scope MFM practice
  • Serve as clinical and operational leader for the practice
  • Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff to optimize workflow, patient care, and quality initiatives
  • Mentor and support APPs and other team members
  • Participate in strategic planning, resource management, and practice development initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Proven leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
