The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix is seeking a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Specialist to join our dynamic academic team. This position will join a collaborative team of MFM specialists who are passionate about academic excellence, clinical innovation, and compassionate care. The division is embedded within a forward-thinking OB/GYN department that values both individual contributions and team success. This position includes a faculty appointment with the University of Arizona, with rank and salary commensurate with experience. We offer a competitive compensation package, generous CME and benefits, relocation stipend, and a signing bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish clinical practice
- Provide residency and fellowship teaching in the outpatient and inpatient areas
- Build specialized and comprehensive programs in MFM and obstetrics
- Build internal and external relationships to inspire and promote collaborations across the health system
- Promote and provide a teaching environment of the highest quality and integrity
- Initiate and contribute clinical and research programs through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Reporting to the Division Chief and in collaboration with the Department Chair and Dean of the College of Medicine, the MFM Physician will be an excellent clinical MFM specialist, innovative translational researcher, and enthusiastic educator, who can build upon excellence in existing clinical, teaching, and team-based research programs. They will recognize the importance of developing an engaged and integrated faculty and staff to build and nurture strong cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualified candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Must be Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or (AOBOG), and eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Arizona.
- Fellowship trained in Maternal-Fetal Medicine is required.
- The candidate must also be eligible for a University of Arizona appointment at the academic rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or higher.
