The University of Kentucky, Division of Pediatric Radiology seeks an exceptional Pediatric Radiologist for a full-time faculty position. The practice is based at the academic medical center, including the Kentucky Children’s Hospital, in Lexington.
The Department of Radiology at the University of Kentucky is committed to providing superior patient care for children and adults. The Department serves patients from the local community and the surrounding regions, as well as throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond. The Department of Radiology prides itself on the delivery of world-class, patient-centered diagnostic and interventional radiology services. We use state-of-the-art imaging equipment and our faculty radiologists are national leaders in the development and use of new imaging technologies.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Division of Pediatric Radiology is a group of pediatric radiologists who provide a full range of diagnostic examinations for UK HealthCare and its satellite centers, including inpatient and outpatient radiography and fluoroscopy, CT, MR, and ultrasound.
The pediatric radiologists at the University of Kentucky are recognized experts in pediatric imaging including radiation dose reduction. The division has an active consultation service and has close working relationships with the clinical services of UK HealthCare. The division takes part in numerous multidisciplinary conferences ranging from the neonatal and pediatric intensive care services to nephrology. They provide dedicated teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows.
The faculty position will be full time with primary effort to support clinical services and time allowed for academic, scholarly, and administrative efforts. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package will be offered.
