Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in food product development, with a focus on savory products such as broths, bone broths, soup bases, sauces, gravies, and seasoning blends
- Experience optimizing formulations for large-scale production, including products designed and equipment selection for retort or aseptic processing.
- 3-5 Years in leadership roles managing cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in mentoring and developing high performing teams.
- Proven track record of successful product launches from concept to commercialization.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Managed 10+ concurrent projects across product lines and delivering projects on time and on budget with at least 95% success rate.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality assurance practices, and sensory evaluation techniques.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Able to commute to Monticello, MN
- Experience with HAACP, SQF and QA
- Knowledgeable in USDA, FDA and FSMA regulations and standards
- Experience with reverse engineering required.
- Familiarity with US labeling regulations. USDA, FDA, Organic, Non-GMO
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate details to technical and nontechnical members for fact-based decision making.
- Proven ability to present technical data and strategies to executives.
- Knowledge of: Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook Express; Microsoft Word; Windows-Based Operating System.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred Certifications – Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing, HACCP.
- Must be reliable, self-starter possessing a positive personality with strong organizational skills.
- Should have solid phone/communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks paying close attention to detail and manage duties with little or no supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondences. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. –Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
