Job Title: Regional Vice President – Multifamily Construction
Location: Dallas, TX

The Regional Vice President(RVP), reporting to the President, is responsible for the overall leadership and project management of construction operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The RVP, in partnership with the development leader and General Superintendent, is responsible for implementing the business plan for the region, and includes carrying out the goals and objectives from a construction standpoint, including the profit & loss accountability, the protection and security of the company while maintaining the first class reputation of the company brand.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with development teams to provide support from a construction cost perspective. The RVP will refine the preliminary construction budget and confirm basic design assumptions along with assisting the development and pre-development teams in the presentation to the Executive Committee on the “go firm” meeting as it relates to buying a piece of land
  • The RVP will take an active role in providing input to the development team and President of Construction during the design process if the decisions or other factors are adversely affecting the overall construction budget or schedule
  • During the design process the RVP will prepare timely budges for the project and provide input on constructability and cost considerations to ensure budgets are met.
  • Strategic responsibilities, including:
    • protect the economic and financial viability of the organization
    • participate in company strategic planning sessions
    • help position the company to lead the industry in innovation and best practices
    • cultivate subcontractor relationships
  • Project Oversight
  • Preconstruction & Estimating

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience managing multi-million dollar construction projects
  • Familiarity with multi-family construction projects
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated supervisory/management skills and ability to motivate/manage teams
