A vertically integrated developer and general contractor specializing in the construction of industrial warehouse and distribution facilities across the United States. The firm develops and delivers large-scale logistics, fulfillment, and distribution projects, managing the full lifecycle from development through construction with a focus on efficiency, quality, and schedule performance.


Position Summary

• Oversees all phases of construction from preconstruction planning through ground-up delivery
• Provides strong field leadership on large-scale industrial warehouse and distribution projects
• Coordinates closely with project management, development, property management, and tenant teams to ensure schedule, quality, and cost expectations are achieved
• Supports tenant improvement work and operational coordination throughout the project lifecycle


Location & Travel

• Candidates should be based near Allentown, PA; Conshohocken, PA; Short Hills, NJ; or Dallas, TX
• Role involves frequent travel to project sites and coordination meetings


Key Responsibilities

Field Leadership & Coordination
• Coordinate with Project Managers, development teams, property management, and tenants to align field execution with project plans
• Lead subcontractors and vendors in daily field activities
• Ensure schedule, cost, and quality expectations are met

Safety Management
• Serve as onsite safety lead and promote strong safety culture on projects
• Review and enforce project-specific safety plans
• Conduct periodic safety inspections and support safety training initiatives

Preconstruction Support
• Assist with estimating and budgeting during preconstruction
• Analyze site conditions and develop site logistics plans
• Review drawings for constructability and coordinate necessary clarifications

Construction Execution
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors throughout construction activities
• Oversee quality assurance and document daily project activities
• Obtain required permits and coordinate inspections and certificates of occupancy

Financial & Schedule Support
• Review and monitor subcontractor pay applications
• Work closely with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within budget

Project Closeout
• Assist with final project closeout activities
• Manage punch lists through completion and turnover


Required Skills

• Strong field leadership and team coordination abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Strong technical ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and safety plans
• Proficiency with construction technology and scheduling tools, including MS Project


Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Construction Science, Construction Technology, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience with a commercial general contractor in roles such as Superintendent, Project Engineer, or similar field leadership position
• Tilt-wall construction experience required
• Ground-up industrial warehouse construction experience strongly preferred
