Your Impact:

  • Set the Vision: Define and lead the strategy for leveraging data science and AI to fuel discovery and therapeutic breakthroughs across the organization.
  • Innovate: Position the company as a recognized leader in generative AI, transforming how immune medicines are discovered and developed.
  • Drive Execution: Oversee the architecture, analysis, modeling, and deployment of AI-driven platforms to streamline data integration, visualization, and discovery.
  • Lead the Team: Build, mentor, and grow a world-class team of machine learning scientists, bioinformaticians, and computational engineers to push the limits of AI in biological research.
  • Advance Discovery: Develop analytical methods and machine learning models to analyze complex datasets, predict biological outcomes, and surface novel findings.
  • Collaborate: Work cross-functionally to integrate AI insights into broader research initiatives, ensuring alignment with experimental platforms and therapeutic goals.
  • Champion Innovation: Represent the AI-driven computational platform to internal leadership, external partners, academia, and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a visionary AI strategy to support discovery and therapeutic development
  • Lead cutting-edge research and development of machine learning models
  • Provide leadership in single-cell sequencing data analysis and the development of computational tools that unlock biological insights
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects while maintaining scientific rigor and transparency
  • Communicate progress and key insights to stakeholders, ranging from technical experts to executives
  • Build and manage budgets while driving innovation

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a quantitative field, AI, or a related field, with significant experience in applying AI/ML to complex biological systems
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving AI innovation
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and influence senior leadership
  • Strong publication record
