The Vice President of Business Development will oversee the growth and success of an already thriving and well-known commercial builder in Dallas, Texas. This person will be part of the strategic vision of the organization and have business development experience operating in diverse market sectors, experience pursuing new business opportunities, and experience managing existing client relationships.
Lead the business development team (i.e. collaboration, training, and mentorship).
Collaborate across all teams within the organization.
Develop business development strategy to meet company’s goals and objectives.
Identify and evaluate current and potential markets, including industry trends, market research, and emerging opportunities for business expansion.
Manage the business development annual budget and expenses.
Identify new business opportunities by with potential clients, developers, architects, etc.
Collaborate with the leadership team to create business development strategies aligned with sales goals.
Develop innovative solutions that differentiate our company from competitors.
Maintain client database with tracking and accountability.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
10+ years of proven track record in business development and sales, preferably within the A/E/C industry.
Knowledge of construction industry practices building, and market trends.
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
