High Level Summary of Your Role with the Company:
This role will be the R&D epicenter of driving growth and maintenance within the core of our business portfolio and will lead a team of 180-200 people. As the VP R&D – Core Business, you will be instrumental in delivering the growth agenda for the NA R&D organization. You and your team will hold primary accountability for the day-to-day operations of the technical category pods in the delivery of 1) the core business agenda, 2) pipeline harmonization across business units, and 3) commercialization of an advantaged innovation, renovation, and supply continuity pipeline. You will have executive R&D leadership of the Kraft Heinz Ingredient business.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field. Graduate degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive success in CPG, but preferably Food & Beverage.
- Consumer obsessed with a track record of success building external partnerships to expand the capacity and capabilities of the R&D organization.
- Passionate and successful track record of success building a consumer-centric culture, high-performing teams, and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Results driven with leadership focus on cross-functional alignment and synergistic strategies to maximize efficiencies and acceleration to market.
- Track record of success leading and executing complex transformation projects in innovation and business insights.
- Deep technical expertise in one or more areas such as Consumer Insights, Culinary, Packaging, Wellness, etc.
- A polished and poised business leader with strong influencer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in an agile, matrixed enterprise.
