High Level Summary of Your Role with the Company:
This role will be the R&D epicenter of disruptive innovation for our portfolio as well as how we operate with greater agility within R&D. As the VP of Disruptive Innovation and Technical Insights, you will be instrumental in accelerating the innovation agenda for the NA R&D organization. Your teams will have responsibility for leveraging deep culinary knowledge and consumer technical insight research to be the leading edge of the innovation agenda.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in business related field. Graduate degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive success in CPG, but preferably Food & Beverage.
- Consumer obsessed with a history of success building transformational external partnerships to accelerate the development of new innovation opportunities from dig to seed to grow.
- Enthusiastic and successful record of success building a consumer-centric culture, high performing teams, and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Results driven with leadership focus on cross-functional alignment and synergistic strategies to maximize efficiencies and acceleration to market.
- History of success leading and executing complex transformation projects in innovation and business insights.
- Deep technical expertise in one or more areas such as Product Research/Consumer Insights, Culinary, Packaging, Wellness, etc.
- Demonstrated strong people leadership skills and success championing culture change (Innovation, Consumer-centric, etc.)
- A polished and poised business leader with strong influencer skills.
- Strong people skills and experience working within an agile and matrixed Enterprise.
