Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Dallas, TX

Kaye/Bassman has partnered with a Dallas-based Construction Manager firm growing their construction finance team. The Accounting Manager will have responsibilities that include:

• Review of construction projects WIP and Percentage of Completion
• Develop relationships with business operations and project managers for internal customer service
• Prepare, distribute and maintain project-related financial reports
• Compile, analyze, and report data at the business unit level
• Continually assess and improve systems and manual processes related to project accounting
• Train and support project accountants
• Establish and maintain organization processes and procedure manuals
• Set up and implement procedures to ensure contractual requirements with respect to all financial aspects are adhered to
• Reviewing and approving accounts payable invoices electronically
• Review and approve weekly check runs
• Preparing and obtaining partial and final lien releases
• Insurance verification for subcontractors
• Manage team of accounts payable coordinators

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience in construction
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP systems)
• Well organized and has strong attention to detail.
