Academic Emergency Radiologist Opportunity (Full-Time or Remote Option with Benefits)

The Department of Radiology at Michigan State University is currently seeking an ABRcertified/eligible ED Radiologist to lead our dynamic group of 16 Emergency Radiologists in the Emergency and Trauma Imaging Division. Our esteemed team operates within a collaborative, academic environment and thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive emergency setting. With a Level 1 Trauma Center status and over 100,000 ED visits/year, the institution covers well over one million lives and plays a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to our community.

In light of the expanding ED Division, the Chief will have the administrative, clinical and research support from department leadership as needed to assist in growing the existing division. The Chief should possess a keen interest in Emergency Imaging while demonstrating strong clinical skills across multiple modalities and organ systems.

    The Division operates 24/7/365, offering a combination of On-Site Shifts and Remote Shifts from home. Physician schedules are meticulously structured to provide flexibility, with a variety of shift options available to accommodate individual preferences. Collaboration with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Surgery, Cardiology, and other departments/divisions is a cornerstone of our practice.
