Job Title: Executive Vice President, Multifamily Development
Location: Dallas, TX

The Executive Vice President is responsible for the overall success, including profit and loss, of multifamily projects, from feasibility through execution including lease-up or disposition.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and maintaining specific market expertise including conducting market research and developing key relationships in multifamily.
  • Participates in the development of the company’s new business pipeline including identifying opportunities and evaluating investment feasibility.
  • Responsible for developing and delivering annual plans within the company’s required format for each asset for which they are responsible, including revisions to both strategy and executional tactics and detailed projections of future cash flows.
  • Responsible for routine monthly progress reporting for each asset for which he or she is responsible including cash flow forecast updates.
  • Responsible for developing productive working relationships with jurisdictional authorities, notable local brokers and key vendors in multifamily.
  • Supports the senior leadership group in the development of company strategy with specific focus on multifamily.
  • In the event that debt is used, partner with the finance team to establish and manage financing strategies and monitor loan obligations during project development.
  • Provide effective oversight of required vendors such as architectural and engineering teams, market research firms, marketing and public relations agencies, etc.
  • Effectively represent the company to the public while acting within company guidelines regarding speaking to the press or sharing the story of either the company or its specific assets.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10-years multifamily real estate development experience
  • Experience developing HUD Market Rate properties required
  • Experience in Texas and the Southeast required
