A Fortune 100 Medical Device company is adding a new Launch Excellence Manager to their commercial operations team to lead the launch of a game-changing new product launch that will change care pathways for patients. Their portfolio of products already includes first-in-class point-of-care diagnostic testing products used in both hospital and non-acute care settings that are intuitive, reliable, and cost-effective.

The Opportunity:
In this high-visibility assignment, the Launch Excellence Manager will lead the launch planning process for a new game-changing point-of-care test. You’ll define regulatory, market access, pricing, distribution, sales force organization and promotion strategies and develop sales forecasts. For this new launch, you’ll provide strong leadership and project management including clearly defined objectives/priorities, established milestones, leading cross-functional teams to meet and exceed goals in a dynamic environment. You’ll also credibly coach and guide district managers and individual reps on best practices for successfully executing the sales process and selection of which programmatic tactics to deploy for each opportunity while staying within overall budget.

Further, you’ll act as a strategic “think tank” for Senior Management on key business initiatives and issues, bringing an understanding of business dynamics and competitive trends markets and proactively plan for potential impact on business within the category. Part of the role will include building novel strategies for market access, consumer awareness building, advocacy engagement, and KOL engagement. The Launch Excellence Manager will also perform complex business and financial analysis (e.g., customer segmentation, marketing ROI, customer promotion responsiveness, etc.) that yields actionable insights that increase market share, sales and margin.

This is position includes travel up to 50% of the time, all domestic US travel supporting the sales process, overseeing local program execution (e.g., dinner programs, grand rounds, etc), engaging with customers and field personnel and participating in sales meetings, training and industry trade shows.

• 10+ years in the diagnostics or medical device industry
• Demonstrated success leading product launches for disruptive medical technologies
• Previous device/dx sales experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or better; MBA or equivalent preferred

This position will be based in New Jersey. Financial assistance is available for relocation support.

The compensation package includes a large annual target bonus and a generous LTI equity package. The annual base salary range offered for this position at the start of employment is anticipated to be between $170,000-$210,000 per year.
