MSU Radiology College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Board-certified or Board-eligible Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiologist with fellowship training or equivalent combination of education and experience. MSK candidates should have interest in developing a high quality, patient focused practice and commitment to excellence to embrace a peer-learning environment while participating in academic and scholarly work.

Responsibilities will include interpretation of a full spectrum of diagnostic imaging providing high-quality patient centered care in an entirely new imaging center with the latest MR, CT, and general diagnostic equipment. Teaching residents and students, research collaboration, and scholarly work opportunities are strongly supported. This full-time academic appointment will serve the Michigan State University Colleges of Osteopathic and Human Medicine, Department of Radiology.

MSU Radiology has an active MSK program. The MSK Division is a dynamic section that includes interpretation of diagnostic studies, including radiographs, CT, MR, and MSK ultrasound; and image-guided procedures including therapeutic injections, aspirations, and spine procedures.


  • MSU Radiology: Performs over 85,000 department-wide radiographic examinations–procedures like X-rays, PET scans, CT scans, MRIs, and dual-energy x-ray spirometry (DXA). Low dose CT.
  • MSU Health Care and McLaren Partnership: MSU’s brand-new, 20,000-sqft Outpatient Care Center and Imaging Services building offers a full suite of imaging capabilities featuring the latest Siemens technology and equipment that is immediately contiguous to the new McLaren Hospital.
  • MSU has been awarded a $6.7 million NIH-CO6 grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH-CO6).

Doctorate – Radiology / DO or MD degree required; meets required qualifications for a State of Michigan medical license; board certified in Radiology. Successful completion of a fellowship in Musculoskeletal imaging or equivalent combination of education and experience.
