Seeking a Division Chief of Breast Imaging to lead a busy existing group of 14 breast imagers and a growing mammography division in a Comprehensive Breast Center and Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence.
UMass Memorial Health, the major teaching and academic affiliate of UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA, has partnered with Kaye/Bassman Academic Physician & Leadership team to recruit a Board-certified, fellowship-trained Chief of Breast Imaging.
Under the leadership of the Chair of Radiology, Dr. Max Rosen, this is a system-wide appointment to lead the division of 14 Breast Radiologists performing over 85,000 breast imaging studies/procedures per year across 12 sites throughout central Massachusetts.
The Division Chief of Breast Imaging will bring extensive expertise and have a broad range of opportunities to make a positive impact in the communities served.
The main (University) campus provides the primary venue for our Comprehensive Breast Center, which is NAPBC accredited, and offers state-of-the art imaging equipment. All community sites are recognized as Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence by the ACR.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a record of clinical and academic achievement in the subspecialty of Breast Imaging, as well as managerial experience and interest. The ability to be flexible and discover creative solutions to current health care challenges will be a key component of the candidate’s future success. Academic rank is anticipated to be at Associate Professor level or higher.
