A profitable, high-growth Medical Device company is expanding their commercial marketing team and adding a newly created commercial Product Marketer. Their surgical products treat a range of complex cardiovascular and structural heart conditions. They need a Marketer for an innovative product portfolio that has strong growth ahead, is highly reimbursed and has high visibility within the company and the marketplace. You’ll define and grow the market for these market-leading products and have routine exposure to senior leadership.

The Opportunity
In this role you will develop marketing plans and activities to strategically position a global market leader in the US structural heart space. This role focuses on downstream, customer-facing marketing including creating meeting and convention strategy, and supporting the sales force with creative ideas. Duties include product positioning, branding and messaging as well as competitive intelligence and agency management. This is a broadly defined assignment that will also include budgeting, forecasting, sales training, medical education programming, and extensive analytics, so we need someone who is comfortable working broadly.

There is a large project management component to the role, and excellent communication skills are required, including written, oral and presentation skills. You will work closely with Key Opinion Leaders in the cardiology community to develop them as advocates for new technology. They are organized in a matrix structure and you will serve as the commercial leader on cross-functional teams with colleagues from product development, sales, finance, regulatory, operations, and medical affairs. Their rapidly expanding organization means there are significant opportunities for career development and advancement. Overnight travel is estimated at 30%.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of commercialized product management in the medical device, clinical diagnostics or pharmaceutical industry
• Product Launch experience
• Experience in cardiology is a plus
• A Bachelor’s Degree or better is required; an MBA or similar is a plus

The industry-leading compensation plan includes base salary plus annual bonus and long-term incentives along with a generous corporate benefits package. The base pay for this position is $91,000 – $181,000. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

This position will be based in the Minneapolis, MN, area. Financial assistance is available for relocation support.
