Pathology GME Program Highlights:

Pathology Protected Time: [2 residents per year, 8 residents total] 0.3-0.4 FTE Administration and leadership of the program and 0.6-0.7 FTE Clinical; the position will be supported by an APD. Eligibility for affiliate academic appointment. -
The Pathology GME Program offers combined programs in anatomic and clinical pathology, including integrated surgical pathology and cytopathology, and draws upon a system with different hospitals and central CoreLab. -
Areas of Focus include cytopathology, hematopathology, bone and soft tissue pathology, oncologic surgical pathology, and genito-urinary pathology.

Your Qualifications for the Position:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Terminal Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O.) -
Board Certification by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) or American Osteopathic Board of Pathology, or hold credentials deemed equivalent to Certification by the ACGME’s Pathology RRC -
At least three (3) years of educational and/or GME administrative experience post residency -
Demonstrated clinical competence as a practicing physician -
Unrestricted credentials within HCA Florida and be licensed or eligible to practice medicine by the state of Florida.
