Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecological care for women of all ages.
  • Provide prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care consistent with best practices and hospital protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with midwives, nurses, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
  • Document clinical encounters clearly and accurately in the electronic health record (EMR).
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement and support community health initiatives.
  • Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
