Responsibilities:

Manage the full spectrum of obstetrical and gynecological care for women of all ages.
Provide prenatal, delivery, postpartum, and gynecologic care consistent with best practices and hospital protocols.
Work collaboratively with midwives, nurses, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
Document clinical encounters clearly and accurately in the electronic health record (EMR).
Engage in continuous quality improvement and support community health initiatives.
Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Licensed Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
