Position Requirements – The Program Director must:

Possess the required specialty expertise and at least three (3) years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in Graduate Medical Education, or qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee, to carry out the responsibilities of the role and to achieve the goals and objectives of the program -
Be certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology or hold credentials deemed equivalent to Certification by the ACGME’s Anesthesiology Residency Review Committee. -
Demonstrate clinical competence as a practicing physician. -
Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience as teaching faculty in an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program. -
Must be appointed in good standing to the Bethesda North and/or Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Staff. -
Have unrestricted credentials within the Department of Anesthesiology of TriHealth and be licensed to practice medicine by the State of Ohio by date of hire. - Medical Degree: MD or DO is required.
