About the Job

The Assistant Campus Director is responsible for assisting the Campus Director with the vision, leadership and direction of the campus. This position is responsible for assisting the Campus Director in their management and oversight duties of campus operations, education, admissions, financial aid, career services and maintenance of facilities. This position interacts with students and staff to maximize employee effectiveness, grow student enrollment, and maximize completion and placement rates. Assists in the daily operational effectiveness, maintenance and compliance of campus and directors of departments.

Job Description
  • Assist with compliance policies and procedures for all Federal, State, accreditation agencies and the Institute.
  • Assist Campus Directors in managing campus operations by coordinating activities consistent with established goals, budgets, objectives and policies.
  • Assist with fiscal planning activities such as development of budget, forecasts, and targets.
  • Manage daily building operation, maintenance and custodial duties.
  • Actively promote the Institute’s mission, vision and values statements and assist Campus Director with incorporating these beliefs and values into campus employees’ daily work ethic.
  • Lead staff effectively and develop campus relationships, establish high expectations and communicate them clearly.
  • Responsible for ensuring daily implementation of all initiatives from Campus Director.
  • Assist with student engagement, satisfaction, and overall success in the programs offered.
  • Plan campus-specific programs concerning organization, operational and academic functions of the campus, and oversee their execution.
  • Assist in the implementation of business plan for growth, profit and compliance.
  • Ensure Campus Director and Institute policies and initiatives are followed as established.
  • Help identify opportunities and areas for improvement within each functional area of the campus.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to subordinates and other employees at the campus.
  • Provide and/or coordinate appropriate training for subordinates.
  • Follow direction of the Campus Director.
  • Assist in scheduling and overseeing human resource activities on campus including: interviewing, hiring and training of employees.
  • Responsible for planning, assigning and directing work on campus in the absences of Campus Director.
  • Assist with addressing complaints on campus from students, teachers and third-parties and resolving problems.
  • Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates.
  • Responsible for maintaining daily oversight of campus regulatory compliance.
  • Assist Campus Director with all campus reports and be responsible for initiating scheduling and review of all reports to ensure they are submitted timely and as required by state, accrediting, and federal agencies.
  • Assist in resolving student issues and/or complaints before they are escalated to the School Director level.
  • Minimum of 9.5 – 10 hours per day with the exception of Friday.
  • Expected daily schedule from 8:30AM – 6:30PM; if working an early schedule then required to work until 7PM at least 2 days a week.
  • Use good judgment when choosing whether to work on Saturdays or Holidays.
  • Available on campus when delegated responsibility by Campus Director.
  • Represent the Institute and all affiliated brands in the most professional and positive light at all times.
  • Regular, consistent, on-time attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Travel to other SCI campuses and fill in as the acting Campus Director upon company need and as assigned by the company President.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Education, Business, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience at a post-secondary education institute.
  • 1-3 years supervising professional staff members, experience at a post-secondary educational institute preferred.
  • Proficiency in all areas of Title IV programs and other major financial aid and admissions programs and compliance with federal, state and local legislative requirements.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience preparing and presenting comprehensive narrative and statistical reports, preferably at a post-secondary educational institute.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience planning, analyzing and evaluating programs and services, operational needs and fiscal constraints.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all regulatory and compliance procedures at the local, state and federal level.
