The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a commercial real estate developer is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, strategy, and planning. This role ensures the financial health of the organization by managing budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management. The CFO plays a key role in supporting long-term strategic growth, driving profitability, and managing capital investments, financing, and debt structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
- Manage relationships with investors, lenders, and financial institutions.
- Lead risk management, including financial risk, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise accounting, audit, and tax processes.
- Ensure optimal capital structure and manage cash flow to support development projects.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on investment decisions and corporate strategy.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as CFO or senior finance executive in real estate or related industries.
- Strong understanding of real estate finance, investment analysis, and capital markets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
