Job Title: Director of Operations
Location: Austin, TX
The Director of Operations will lead and oversee the operational performance of the Austin division. of a commercial general contractor. This role will be responsible for managing the operations P&L, ensuring project execution aligns with company goals, and driving efficiency and profitability across all construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, project execution, and resource allocation for the Austin division.
- Manage and optimize the operations P&L, ensuring financial performance aligns with company objectives.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Lead and mentor project managers and site teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and team performance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
