Job Title: Director of Senior Behavioral Health

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Director of Senior Behavioral Health to lead our specialized inpatient/outpatient program for older adults. The Director will oversee clinical operations, ensure high-quality patient care, and manage a dedicated interdisciplinary team focused on the mental, emotional, and behavioral well-being of seniors. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Senior Behavioral Health program.

  • Supervise nursing and clinical staff, ensuring adherence to professional standards and organizational policies.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care policies, procedures, and treatment protocols.

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation regulations.

  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.

  • Monitor quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Manage departmental budget, staffing schedules, and resource allocation.

  • Serve as a role model for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing.

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in behavioral health or geriatric care.

  • Prior leadership/management experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health regulations, best practices, and clinical standards.

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
