We have been retained by a global healthcare company to hire a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Dermatology. This field-based scientific expert will elevate peer-to-peer scientific exchange, strengthen KOL relationships, and support clinical and medical initiatives across the Dermatology portfolio.

Territory: Midwest (KS, MO, NE, IA, MN)

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and sustain peer-level relationships with HCPs, KOLs, professional societies, and advocacy groups
  • Deliver fair-balanced scientific presentations and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in a compliant, timely manner
  • Maintain expertise in dermatology and translate complex data credibly to clinical and scientific stakeholders
  • Support investigator-initiated trials, site identification, recruitment, and collaborations with Clinical Development
  • Represent the company at regional and national congresses to foster relationships, capture insights, and support scientific exchange
  • Educate internal teams (Commercial, Medical, Market Access) on disease state, product science, and competitive landscape
  • Provide scientific expertise to support advisory boards, speaker training, and medical communication plans

Who They’re Looking For

  • Advanced degree required: PharmD, PhD, MD, NP, or PA
  • Minimum 2+ years of MSL experience
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with dermatology specialists or related therapeutic areas
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; effective 1:1 and group scientific exchange
  • Clear understanding of clinical research and ability to interpret scientific data credibly
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (regional and national meetings)
  • Preferred: Dermatology or Allergy/Immunology experience
