We have been retained by a well-established biopharmaceutical company to hire a Medical Science Liaison / Senior Medical Science Liaison – Oncology. This is a field-based role supporting a potential first-in-class oncology product in a platform that extends across multiple therapeutic areas. The MSL will play a critical role in thought leader engagement, insight gathering, and advancing scientific exchange.

Territory: Northeast Region (New England and Upstate NY)

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and educate: Build scientific partnerships with gynecologic oncologists and oncology thought leaders, advancing knowledge of innovative science in this space

  • Clinical development support: Contribute to company-sponsored trials, investigator-initiated studies, publications, advisory boards, and congresses

  • Scientific exchange: Communicate clinical trial data and development strategy while providing education on emerging mechanisms of action in oncology

  • Insights and strategy: Capture and share field intelligence to inform internal stakeholders

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Clinical Development, Market Access, Commercial, and Medical Affairs to support broader oncology strategy

Who They’re Looking For

  • Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSN, PA, NP)

  • 5+ years of MSL experience with at least 2 years in oncology

  • Strong oncology expertise, including knowledge of therapeutic landscapes, NCCN guidelines, clinical trial data, and cooperative groups

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills

  • Ability to travel approximately 50 to 60 percent
