We’ve been retained by a patient-first, rare disease company to hire a Medical Science Liaison (MSL), Rare Pediatric Disease. This field-based medical expert will elevate scientific exchange, strengthen KOL relationships, and support clinical and medical initiatives across their rare disease portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Build, manage, and sustain peer-level relationships with HCPs, KOLs, centers of excellence, and advocacy groups

Deliver fair-balanced scientific presentations and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in a compliant, timely manner

Gather external insights and channel them to Medical Affairs to inform strategy and evidence plans

Provide on-the-ground scientific support at national/regional/local congresses; lead insight capture

Support clinical initiatives (site ID, recruitment, drug logistics) and post-marketing needs (PMRs, Phase IV, EAP)

Contribute to integrated data generation, IIT/ISR support, publications, medical education, and MI standard responses

Educate internal teams on disease state, guidelines, competitive landscape, and product science
Who They’re Looking For

Advanced degree required: MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, or RN
-
5+ years MSL experience, including time in a small/growing biotech environment

Background in genetics, pediatrics, neurology, and/or rare disease
-
Proven ability to translate complex science for 1:1 and group settings; strong written/oral communication

Ability to travel up to 80%
