Key Responsibilities and Milestone Accomplishments for the ENT Surgeon Role
- Lead comprehensive ENT surgical care and treatment, and engage in educational activities
- By three months, begin operating and seeing patients in clinic
- By six months, comfortably integrate into the team and start teaching residents
- By one year, establish a strong practice and improve patient care delivery
- Collaborate with other medical practitioners
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the goals and mission of USA Health
Professional Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of a residency or fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology
- Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology
- Valid license to practice medicine in the state of Alabama, upon hire
- Preferred Expertise in Otolaryngology (ENT) with a working knowledge of advanced surgical techniques. (special interest in skull-based surgery preferred)
