This role serves as the owner’s advocate throughout all phases of construction, providing oversight, coordination, and strategic guidance on projects nationwide. The ideal candidate is an experienced owner’s rep with strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to protecting the client’s interests.
Responsibilities

Project Planning: Support scope development, budgeting, and scheduling in partnership with design teams.

Bid & Contract Management: Prepare bid packages, evaluate proposals, and negotiate contracts on behalf of the owner.

Construction Oversight: Monitor progress for compliance with plans, specifications, quality, and schedule milestones.

Communication: Function as the primary liaison between ownership, design partners, and construction teams.

Cost Control: Track expenditures, approve change orders, and provide financial updates.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Project Closeout: Lead turnover documentation, commissioning coordination, and transition to occupancy.
Qualifications

Degree in construction management or related field, or equivalent experience.

Prior experience representing owners on commercial construction projects.

Ability to travel for extended periods as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability to twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb ladders/stairs, and walk on uneven terrain. Must recognize equipment warning signals, lift up to 25 lbs. frequently, and stand for extended periods (up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift).
