A long-standing design-build firm serving commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, and mixed-use markets is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager / Project Planner. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, detail-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Strategy & Client Interface

  • Support overall project strategy and execution.

  • Serve as primary client liaison to define goals and manage expectations.

  • Lead communication across internal teams, consultants, and external partners.

  • Schedule and facilitate client, design, and internal coordination meetings.

Team & Process Coordination

  • Organize efforts between design, estimating, engineering, and construction teams.

  • Participate in client presentations and internal planning sessions.

  • Coordinate project review meetings and consultant engagement.

Scope, Budget, & Schedule Development

  • Collaborate with clients and design teams to define project scope.

  • Work with subcontractors, vendors, and estimators to shape budgets and pricing.

  • Prepare conceptual budgets, estimates, GMPs, proposals, and schedules.

  • Document meeting minutes, action items, and scope summaries.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • Familiarity with building systems and design-build delivery.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in MS Office; Bluebeam experience a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

WORK & TRAVEL
