Job Title: Project Engineer (Traveling)
Location: Dallas, TX
The Project Engineer role plays a critical part in project coordination, documentation, and communication, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.
With a strong focus on problem-solving, organization, and hands-on project involvement, the Project Engineer will gain the skills and experience necessary to transition into a Project Manager role within 1 to 4 years, based on performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project coordination, scheduling, and document management.
- Support subcontractor and vendor communication to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project progress, budgets, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Help resolve field issues, RFIs, and change orders.
- Participate in project meetings and maintain detailed reports.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 1+ years of construction experience
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
