Job Title: Project Engineer (Traveling)
Location: Dallas, TX

The Project Engineer role plays a critical part in project coordination, documentation, and communication, working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

With a strong focus on problem-solving, organization, and hands-on project involvement, the Project Engineer will gain the skills and experience necessary to transition into a Project Manager role within 1 to 4 years, based on performance. This position offers structured career growth, mentorship, and exposure to all phases of the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in project coordination, scheduling, and document management.
  • Support subcontractor and vendor communication to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Track project progress, budgets, and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Help resolve field issues, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure quality control and safety standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of construction experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
