About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Executive to manage and oversee K–12 construction projects, ensuring compliance with DSA regulations. This position is responsible for directing on-site operations, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety and quality standards, and fostering collaboration across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight for K–12 and civic construction projects, including ground-up construction, tenant improvements, and strategic client account management.

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with school districts and public agencies at City, County, and State levels.

  • Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, and operations teams to establish project execution strategies and ensure successful project delivery.

  • Mentor and guide Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers across multiple teams.

  • Monitor overall project health, including financial performance, schedule adherence, quality, and risk mitigation.

  • Work closely with field and safety leadership to maintain consistent execution and compliance across all job sites.

  • Represent the company in executive meetings, proposals, and critical project milestones.

  • Partner cross-functionally to support staffing plans, team development, and long-term strategic planning for DSA-regulated projects.


Qualifications

  • 12+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.

  • Proven success managing public works and education projects, with a preference for DSA projects valued at $20M+.

  • Strong knowledge of project delivery methods for public clients, including hard bid scenarios.

  • Demonstrated business acumen, including financial management, forecasting, and client negotiation.

  • Proficient in Procore, scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project), and construction budgeting software.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
