Sutter Roseville Medical Center (SRMC), a Sutter Health affiliate, seeks to hire an outstanding BC/BE physician educator for the full-time position of Program Director for the GME Neurology Residency Program in Roseville, CA.

In fact, Sutter Roseville is designated by the Joint Commission as a Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center. The Program Director will have access to clinical trials and multidisciplinary team collaboration across nationally recognized stroke and epilepsy programs; and Patient-centric and active, well respected Neuroscience inpatient service at SRMC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Director of the Neurology Residency Program has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, and promotion of residents, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care. The Program Director is responsible for the standards, quality, reputation, and ongoing improvement of the Neurology Residency Program.

This residency will be a mixture of inpatient and outpatient practice, with an inpatient call-schedule to be determined. The Neurology Residency Program Director will divide their time between one’s own clinical practice and the programmatic responsibilities of the Neurology Residency Program at SRMC.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have an MD, DO, or equivalent. Necessary qualifications include board certification or eligibility (ABPN or AOBNP), eligibility for a California medical license, and suitable clinical and teaching experience.
