Job Title: Scheduling Manager
Location: Dallas, TX

The Scheduling Manager plays a critical part in driving project success through the development, analysis, and maintenance of construction timelines. The ideal candidate is skilled in coordinating across teams to support efficient planning, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary liaison for scheduling communications between project teams, field personnel, and clients.

  • Apply a strong understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM) to build, maintain, and adjust construction schedules.

  • Interpret and work with construction plans and specifications to inform scheduling decisions.

  • Facilitate collaborative sessions with project management, owners, subcontractors, and site staff to establish baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery plans.

  • Proactively identify potential scheduling risks and communicate them with appropriate teams.

  • Develop detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and incorporate them into the project planning process.

  • Track project performance against schedule, budget, and resource metrics, providing analysis and recommendations.

  • Produce routine reports including critical path analyses, short-term lookahead schedules, and project narratives.

  • Use scheduling software (Primavera P6 and MS Project) to update, maintain, and report on project timelines.

  • Analyze the impact of schedule changes including delivery delays, time extension requests, and potential claims.

  • Assist preconstruction teams in generating proposal-level and initial project schedules.

  • Collaborate with third-party scheduling consultants for independent reviews or forensic analysis.

  • Lead or contribute to training efforts related to scheduling practices across the organization.

  • Demonstrate expert-level proficiency in both P6 and MS Project, understanding when to leverage each tool effectively.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support project success.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent relevant work experience.

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in commercial construction scheduling, ideally within sectors such as data centers, life sciences, or manufacturing.

  • High-level proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Solid knowledge of construction processes and field operations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
