A vertically integrated real estate development and construction firm is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead and scale its light-industrial / warehouse estimating function. This role will be instrumental in establishing pricing strategy, supporting preconstruction, and building the systems and team needed to support a growing industrial platform.
Key Responsibilities

Lead estimating efforts for light-industrial, warehouse, and distribution projects from concept through GMP

Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimates for speculative and build-to-suit projects

Partner closely with development, preconstruction, and operations teams to align scope, budget, and schedule

Establish estimating standards, templates, and processes for an expanding industrial portfolio

Evaluate subcontractor pricing, lead bid reviews, and manage procurement strategies

Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-control solutions throughout design development

Mentor and help grow junior estimating talent as the industrial group scales
Qualifications

8+ years of estimating experience with a strong focus on light-industrial / warehouse construction

Background with tilt-wall, distribution centers, and large-scale industrial shell projects

Experience supporting speculative development and fast-paced preconstruction environments

Strong understanding of cost modeling, subcontractor markets, and regional pricing trends

Proven ability to operate independently while building structure and process

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
