Your Role with the Company:

The Sr Principal Toxicologist manages the day-to-day activities in toxicology to enable the company to innovate and commercialize safe foods and beverages. This role works side-by-side with Quality, Nutrition, Chemistry, Regulatory, Packaging Innovation, and Legal. The Principal Toxicologist plays a key role in the product and packaging development process of all our food and beverage categories through application of toxicology science, consumption data and risk assessment. We are looking for a team member who is collaborative, high-performance team-oriented, and able to apply technical and academic excellence across our food and beverage portfolio.

This role is based in Frisco, Texas. Hybrid schedule working 3 days from the office and 2 days remote.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • PhD in toxicology and DABT preferred.
  • Seven plus years of relevant industry experience, food or beverage background preferred.
  • Experience in Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology (DART) preferred.
  • Ability to anticipate and address toxicology related issues in a proactive manner.
  • Exceptional willingness and propensity for collaboration, relationship & team building.
  • Independently define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and confidently support them when challenged.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently on projects and initiatives.
  • Polished communication, influence, and external presence skills
  • Technical Knowledge & Software Applications: (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Optiva).
