The Vice President of Academics provides strategic and operational leadership for all academic programs (resident and online). Reporting directly to and working in close strategic partnership with the President/CEO, the VP of Academics will provide visionary leadership and operational oversight to ensure excellence in curriculum quality, academic scheduling, faculty performance, student learning outcomes, and full institutional and programmatic compliance.
Key Outcomes (First 12–18 Months)
  • Deliver program schedules with published academic calendars and staffing plans.
  • Maintain compliance with USDoE, ACCSC, ACEN, and CIE administrative and outcomes requirements.
  • Implement a faculty onboarding and training program.
  • Stand up a repeatable program launch framework.
  • Establish and maintain a documented curriculum governance process.
  • Ensure the academic department and faculty are using the new SIS and LMS to it fullest capability.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications
  • Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum (5) years of senior academic leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated curriculum design experience.
  • Scheduling expertise across delivery formats.
  • ACCSC experience.
  • Intermediate SIS/LMS experience.
  • Strong written communication and people leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree.
  • Florida CIE experience.
  • Campus executive leadership experience.
  • ACEN or nursing programmatic accreditation experience.
  • Online education management experience.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $165,000–$190,000
  • Incentive/bonus eligible
