Position Purpose & Mandate
The VP of Business Development – Life Science Market will be responsible for generating net-new revenue across the Life Sciences vertical, including the following:
· Manufacturing: Pharmaceutical, biotech, including small-scale.
· R&D: Higher-ed, health sciences, and developer lead.
· Distribution: Life-sciences distribution facilities with sampling/testing.
The role must open entirely new markets and build relationships with decision-makers at owners, developers, AEC partners, EPCs, and design-build partners.
Background & Experience
· 10+ years in life sciences or pharmaceutical manufacturing BD, seller-doer, or technical BD.
· Proven experience selling into:
o Large pharma owners, or
o Top-tier EPC/EPCM design-build firms
· Demonstrated understanding of cGMP, biologics, aseptic processing, clean utilities, and capital project lifecycles.
Network Requirements
Candidate must have existing, active relationships with at least one of the following:
· Major pharma owners
· Top-tier pharma EPC or Design-Build firms
· Process-engineering firms serving the pharmaceutical sector
· Second-tier design or EPC firms supporting the industry
