A Fortune 500 Medical Device company is adding new marketing professionals to their commercial marketing team. The product portfolio revenues top 1B+ globally, with significant growth to come in the near term. Their cardiology portfolio includes innovative solutions from early-stage diagnostic tools to Class III implantables for patients with advanced, life-threatening conditions. Multiple launches will roll out in the next year to provide HCPs and patients new solutions for these common, complex cardiology conditions.
The Opportunity
In this newly created Commercial Director of Commercial role you will drive market expansion, adoption and innovation across the United States, Canada and LATAM for a flagship, industry-leading portfolio. You’ll own the end-to-end business strategy including commercial, operational and financial functions. You’ll work with commercial leadership to develop strategies to penetrate and grow the market across sales, marketing and business objectives. You’ll define best practices for sales managers, streamline processes and turn data insights into actionable items. This is a broadly defined assignment that will also include P&L ownership as well as leading commercial functions in sales operations, sales force planning, market access, reimbursement and sales training.
Expertise in Class III implantable surgical devices is a must with a strong preference direct experience from the cardiovascular/cardiac space.
You will routinely interact with executive leaders including the c-suite, so excellent influencing and communication skills are required. In this high profile, strategic assignment you will report to the Commercial Vice President and work alongside sales and marketing executive leaders as well as commercial operations, marketing, finance and HR. The rapidly expanding organization means there are significant opportunities for career development and advancement.
Overnight travel is estimated at 50%.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following qualities:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial med device leadership experience across marketing and sales
- Proven experience with sales ops, commercial planning and commercial insights
- Strong executive presentation and influencing skills
- Class III implantable experience is a must, cardiac device experience is a strong plus
- A Bachelor’s Degree or better is required; an MBA or similar is preferred
